“Just good to see some familiar faces.”
ScreenRant: What were you most excited toexplore inXO, Kittyseason 2?
Sang Heon Lee: I think we were excited about the fact that we got a new season, and then we were working amongst good cast, good people. We were looking forward to reuniting with some people that we’ve worked together with on season 1. And we’re talking about the crew specifically, or sometimes directors. And obviously, just good to see some familiar faces.

Minyeong Choi: And plus, we had new cast. So we’re really excited about that.
ScreenRant: Is there a scene that you were most excited to film?

Sang Heon Lee: I was kind of excited when they said we’re going to film at Gwangjang Market. I was like, Oh, really? I was like, “Oh, okay. That’s a market that I’ve definitely been to a lot, so why not?” Yeah, that’d be cool.
Minyeong Choi: I was excited for that too. And there’s a scene that we shot in a palace. Right after I heard that, I was excited for it. Because shooting in a palace feels good. It’s exciting.

Minyeong Choi & Sang Heon Lee Tease More Exploration Of Friendships In XO, Kitty Season 2
“The friendship part definitely got deeper, and you can see more scenes about it.”
ScreenRant: What are you most excited for fans to see inXO, Kittyseason 2?
Sang Heon Lee: Oh, I think there are a lot of K-drama moments. I think they can look forward to a few scenes.
Minyeong Choi: Yeah, those cute moments. I feel like the theme of friendship is more in it this season. Like friendship with Min Ho and Dae and Q. Friendship between Kitty and Q. Yuri and Kitty. The friendship part definitely got deeper, and you may see more scenes about it. So, you can count on that too.
Everyone In The Cast Brings Something Of Themselves To Their XO, Kitty Characters
“I would put a bit of what I am in real life into Min Ho and enhance that into the right character.”
ScreenRant: Do you think you are anything like your characters in real life?
Sang Heon Lee: I feel like we all sort of agreed that we are what we are. We are what we play, what we act in. But again, we would, maybe for me in this case, I would put a bit of what I am in real life into Min Ho and enhance that into the right character. But also I would say everyone did the same thing, except maybe if the question was slightly different, like, is anyone quite different from the character, I would say Gia and Yuri. Not exactly the same person. Definitely not.
Minyeong Choi: I would say so too.
Sang Heon Lee: I would say Gia is definitely more introverted. Without telling too much of her personal life.
Minyeong Choi: I would say every cast and character, we feel like they’re really connected. It’s not mostly about how you express things in the deeper side. The thoughts and what they value. I think that part is really close with the characters. So what Yuri values and what Gia values, that’s kind of similar. But Gia doesn’t go shopping every day like that.
