The Penguin, which will consist of eight episodes, will premiere on Thursday, September 19. Reeves also confirmed during the panel that Farrell will reprise his role as Penguin inThe Batman - Part II, which will start filming next year ahead of its October 2026 release date.

Even though Oz is fighting to become a bigger player in Gotham City because of his own motivations, the new glimpse of the series also adds a more human element.
One of the trailer’s big twists is thatThe Penguincastnewcomer Sofia Falcone (Cristin Milioti) has just been released from Arkham, claiming she has been rehabilitated. But based on Oz’s reaction, he does not buy it, as he is now having to deal with another Falcone in his life. WhileThe Penguinwill be mostly a mob story, the DC drama will essentially explore how various sides of the criminal underworld are looking to claim more control of Gotham City.
