Ritchson was also announced to produce, and the film is being produced and distributed by Amazon MGM Studios. Filming began in New York City in December 2024 (viaCollider). Though no official release date has been announced just yet, they are already through part of filming, and seeing as it’s a Christmas movie, it’s likelyThe Man with the Bagwill premiere around the holiday season, although that is also not certain. Amazon have confirmed that it is not on the 2025 slate, though, so 2026 seems like a more likely possibility.
