If you want to delete your account, you can do so without a waiting period. Telegram offers this feature in theTelegram web appand iOS app. You can also access Telegram’s instant account deletion tool from the Android app. To complete the deletion process, you must open a mobile browser.

When you delete your account, it deletes all your messages. You can open another account using the same phone number after a few days.

How to automatically delete your Telegram account after a period of inactivity

Since Telegram is a privacy-focused app, nobody wants their information accessed. This includes users who can’t access their Telegram account for deletion and others who wish to scrub all unwanted information from their profiles. To address these privacy concerns, Telegram has anaccount self-destruct feature. Abandoned accounts are deleted if you don’t log in for a certain period (six months).
