The saying basically means “slow and steady wins the race”. It’s not exactly the most inspiring or fiery motto, but it is wise, and it fits perfectly with AFC Richmond and Ted.
AFC Richmond is heavily inspired by Crystal Palace F.C., a real English Premier League team, with its color scheme and uniforms though Crystal Palace does not have an official motto.
