Strange New Worlds is ongoing and that taps into everyone’s nostalgia with the Star Trek franchise, it seems. It would be kind of fun to show up in Strange New Worlds, and Saru is already familiar with Captain Pike and with Spock. We already had our interactions in season two of Discovery, where they launched from. So a nice little reunion would be kind of fun.

Will Saru Appear In Star Trek: Starfleet Academy?

Saru’s still has a Star Trek future

Doug Jones toldScreen Rant, “I haven’t gotten the call yet"about reprising Saru inStar Trek: Starfleet Academy, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen someday. Whether as Ambassador or Admiral Saru, the Kelpien has a great deal to teach the young Cadets of Starfleet Academy. Jones would surely relish the chance to act opposite the show’s Academy Award-caliber headliners Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti.
