Lorna’s arrival aids Pietro at a pivotal moment, but something more than chance could have pulled her there.

Quicksilver and Polaris have been in each other’s vicinity a few times in recent years, but the two haven’t truly teamed up since their days inAll New X-Factor, which went disastrously. They ended on poor terms, thanks to Lorna learning that Pietro had been spying on her for her ex-fiance, Alex Summers. The speedster offered a sincere apology, but they’ve rarely interacted since it occurred.Wanda being in mortal peril is the best reason to reconnect, as both of them have been repeated visitors since she settled in Lotkill, and they’re both ready to come to her aid.

All New X-Factorlaunched in January 2014 and ran for 20 issues before its cancelation.

Although the Griever insults Quicksilver by calling him “an addendum”, both she and the Queen of Nevers know that Wanda’s twin is a big piece of the puzzle, naming him the “spark” while Wanda is “the oxygen.” Their connection is important, but it may not be the only one. The Griever and Queen of Nevers are sisters themselves, with the Griever styled in the color red (like the Scarlet Witch) while her sibling takes on the samegreen palette as Polaris. Lorna’s arrival aids Pietro at a pivotal moment, but something more than chance could have pulled her there.

Wanda and Pietro are a true force, but the addition of Lorna makes them hyper-efficient; they fill in the gaps in each other’s powers and personalities, and it’s difficult to imagine a foe they couldn’t vanquish as a united front.
