Summary

In film and television, theMarvel Cinematic Universehas released many excellent adaptations of their beloved comic books, but only one release holds a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating. In terms of theMCU’s TV shows, with perhaps their most impactful release,WandaVisionhas changed the MCU and was beloved by critics and audiences alike. While well reviewed, the series did not receive the rare perfect score. EvenAvengers: Infinity Warwasn’t a positive clean sweep. How these shows and movies are received is subjective, and a 100% perfect score is an almost impossible benchmark.

In general, Marvel’s projects have been very well received, with the highestRotten Tomatoes scores for Phase 3.Marvel has worked hard to ensure quality in its major films and series, which has built trust for audiences to expect a quality project when interacting with the studio. However, despite incredible scores for many of their more extensive projects, several lesser-seen series have still succeeded in achieving these high scores. One such project, an animated series with 30 episodes, has an incredible 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Every Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie Ranked Worst To Best

Over 17 years and 35 movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies have redefined blockbuster cinema. But how do all the films stack up?

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Is Marvel’s Only 100% Show

The animated seriesMoon Girl and Devil Dinosaurhas the highest Rotten Tomatoes score of any Marvel project at 100% Fresh. The show features 13-year-old Lunella Lafayette, a genius inhuman who has appeared in comics since 2015. One of the most brilliant characters in Marvel, Lafayette is able to work with science and technology and eventually pulls a tyrannosaur through a portal that joins her in her adventures. She dubs him Devil Dinosaur and the two venture off together into all sorts of entertaining and charming tales.

Notably, a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score does not necessarily indicate the highest level of quality, but simply that all the critics who reviewed the show agreed that it was good. The series holds a 7.6/10 score on IMDB, which is still quite high and is perhaps a more accurate reflection of the quality of the series.Considered charming, wonderfully animated, and imaginative, the series has grown beloved by its viewers and is in the middle of its second season.

What Are The Highest Marvel TV Shows?

Notably, these scores can change with time.X-Men ‘97had the highest Rotten Tomatoes scoreat 100% immediately after release, but it has since gone down to a still incredible 99%.Just behind it isMs. Marvel, which, despite a 98% score, was notoriously under-seen to the point thatThe Marvelsbombed tremendously at the box office. Other tied-in MCU series were still warmly received, withWandaVisionandHawkeyeboth scoring excellent 92% scores from their single-season runs. Audiences may, however, be surprised to seeWhat If…?place higher on this list thanLoki, one of the most beloved series in the MCU.

Notably, many of the best-reviewed series are not from the Disney+ direct extensions of the MCU.Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the franchise’s first attempt to create an ancillary series, still holds the fourth-highest score at 95% for its seven-season run.Daredevil, too, remains at the same score as several MCU projects at 92%. These are especially notable because these scores are garnered from an aggregate of their full, long runs. It is difficult to compareS.H.I.E.L.D.’s 136-episode run toHawkeye’s 6, for example.

I Rewatched Agents of SHIELD’s Crossover With Winter Soldier & It’s Still One Of The Best Early MCU Moments 10 Years Later

I still can’t believe Marvel’s impressive crossover between Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the final episodes of Agents of SHIELD season 1.

Marvel projects are typically marked by quality. However, the Rotten Tomatoes score ofMoon Girl and Devil Dinosauris exceptional even among such an esteemed canon. While as the series continues it becomes increasingly likely that this score may go down eventually, such wonderful reviews for its first season cannot be undone. Beyond the typical entries ofLokiandThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier, there continue to be excellent additions to theMarvel Cinematic Universein some of these wonderful small-screen tales.
