The start of each year means it’s time for CES in Las Vegas, with thousands of booths showing off the latest in tech innovations. This year, we’re on the ground to take a look at what’s on offer and highlight the truly exceptional products amongst all the noise.
Here are our selections of the best tech at CES 2025 and why they’re so interesting.

1Lenovo Legion Go S
Lenovo is releasing an update to its Legion Go handheld gaming console with the Lenovo Legion Go S. Although it’s not a full second generation to the original Lenovo Legion Go, the Legion Go S will feature either a next-generation AMD Ryzen Z2 Go or AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor. The latter is the same chip used on the first Lenovo handheld, while the former is a Lenovo exclusive designed to make the device more affordable.
Aside from that, the Legion G S has a smaller 8-inch 16:10 touchscreen display that can hit up to 120Hz, plus up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and a larger 3-cell 55.5Whr battery (versus 49.2Whr in the original Legion Go). It also has Wi-Fi 6E, allowing you to enjoy fast wireless internet, two USB4 ports on the top for simultaneous charging and use of peripherals, and a microSD card reader for transferring files.

The most interesting part about this handheld is that Lenovo is releasing it in two versions: the Legion Go S (Windows) and the Legion Go S Powered by SteamOS. This makes the Legion Go S the first handheld gaming console using Steam’s operating system outside of the Steam Deck, and we’re excited to see how it will perform versus Steam’s own hardware.
The Lenovo Legion Go S will be available starting January 2025 with an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage at $729.99—however, this will only come with the Windows OS. A more affordable variant with either Windows or SteamOS will be available starting May 2025; this will have the same AMD Z2 Go chip and 1TB of storage, but it will have a slightly lower 16GB of memory and a starting price of $599.99.

2Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable
Lenovo is putting a flexible display in its laptop lineup with the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable AI PC. This 14-inch laptop comes with an Intel Core Ultra processor and integrated Intel Arc graphics, allowing you to enjoy AI features with an extended battery life. It will also feature Thunderbolt 4 and Intel Wi-Fi 7 for high-speed connectivity, allowing you to transfer large amounts of data in a jiffy both wirelessly and via a physical connection.
All these features are put inside an ultra-slim frame measuring 19.9mm thick and weighing 1.7kg (3.75lbs). It also has a 14-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy, providing a responsive and vibrant viewing experience. But what makes this laptop stand out is that its 14-inch display can stretch up to 16.7 inches, giving you up to 50% more screen space in the footprint of a 14-inch laptop.

The rolling display gives a portrait aspect ratio, suitable for viewing documents, writing code, and creating content designed for smartphones. Aside from that, you’re able to also activate split-screen mode (allowing the tall display to support multiple window layouts), and even create a secondary virtual display for sharing with other users during meetings.
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 is expected to become available during the first quarter of 2025, with a starting price of $3,499. Although it’s not the most affordable laptop today, its expanding screen justifies the cost as you don’t have to bring an external display for more desktop real estate.

3Acer Nitro Blaze 11
Acer is expanding its handheld gaming foothold with its new Acer Nitro Blaze 11 and Blaze 8. The Acer Nitro Blaze 8 has an 8.8-inch touchscreen display with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Acer Nitro Blaze 11 comes with a humongous 10.95-inch touchscreen and 120Hz refresh rate. Both consoles are powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics, with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of storage.
You’ll also get a USB4 and a USB3.2 Type-C port for charging and attaching peripherals, Wi-Fi 6E for fast wireless internet, and Bluetooth 5.3 so you can use your wireless peripherals with minimal lag. They also feature a front camera for video calling and streaming, although you might want to dock the console to use this since streaming your video while handheld will be uncomfortable and look awkward.
What’s particularly interesting is how lightweight the 11-inch version is. Despite the Blaze 11 weighing 2.3 lbs compared to the Blaze 8’s 1.58 lbs, you can’t feel the difference. So while on first look, the Blaze 11 looks large, don’t worry about it being too heavy to hold. In addition, the Blaze 11 has removable controllers and a really sturdy kickstand behind the main body, so you can prop it up and play without holding the entire unit. As the Blaze 8 doesn’t have detachable controllers, it doesn’t come with a kickstand.
The Acer Nitro Blaze handhelds will all come with Windows 11 Home, plus three months of Xbox PC Game Pass. The Nitro Blaze 8 starts expensive, launching at $899.99, while the Nitro Blaze 11 will cost $200 more for the larger display. Both devices are expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2025.
4Eufy 3-in-1 E20 Robot Vacuum
Eufy’s 3-in-1 E20 is much more than just a robot vacuum for your floors. The highlight of the system is a detachable, independent vacuum module with a motor, dust cup, and filtration system.
When not using the robot vacuum, you can detach that from the base and use it as a cordless handheld or stick vacuum with the provided hardware. While the robot vacuum maxes out at 8,000Pa of suction, the handheld version provides up to 30,000Pa of power. No matter how you use the vacuum, it will automatically empty into the base’s dust bag.
On the robot vacuum, an auto-detangling brush can help prevent tangles from pet and other long hair around the house. The battery can completely recharge in 2.5 hours. The E20 system retails for $549.99 and can be pre-ordered starting today; it will officially land on February 10.
5Satechi Mac Mini M4 Stand and Hub
The Satechi Mac Mini M4 Stand and Hub can bring more to the latest tiny Mac. It easily attaches to the bottom of the computer and is made with an aluminum design to match the Mac mini. Once connected, it provides dedicated access to the power button and front-facing access to USB-A 3.2 and 2.0 ports, along with a SD card reader. you may also use the SSD enclosure to add up to 4TB of storage to the Mac mini to better manage large projects or a substantial photo library.
Bottom vents will help dissipate heat while the recessed top area provides additional cooling. You can order the hub starting on February 17 for $99.99.
6JBL Tour One M3
JBL wants to turn any audio source wireless with the new Tour ONE M3 headphones. Along with the headphones, the setup includes the JBL Smart Tx. It’s a wireless transmitter that allows you to transmit audio from any USB-C port or analog audio source, like an inflight entertainment system, PC, or even television. The connection between the transmitter and headphones is designed to improve stability and call quality while reducing latency. Using the built-in touch screen on the transmitter, you can also control menu playback, call management, EQ settings, and more.
Using adaptive noise canceling, the headphones use microphones to scan for and block wanted background noise. Spatial 360 technology uses integrated head tracking for a more immersive listening experience. You can play audio for up to 70 hours before needing to recharge the headphones. In a pinch, a 5-minute top-up can provide an additional 5 hours of playback.
The JBL Tour One M3 will retail for $399.95 and officially arrive on the market on April 13.
7LG UltraGear 45GX990A
LG is launching a new bendable monitor that offers a “5K2K” resolution, giving you the highest possible resolution while still letting you enjoy the display in either completely flat mode or with a 900R curvature. This means you get a maximum resolution of 5120x2160 pixels in a 21:9 aspect ratio and an ultra-fast response time of 0.03ms (GtG), ensuring sharpness and clarity.
The GX9 series is also certified for low blue light emissions and uses LG’s anti-glare and low-reflection coating. This reduces eye strain even after working and/or gaming for several hours and helps you clearly see your display no matter how bright or dim your workstation or room is. And despite the massive 45-inch screen size, you can easily switch between different picture sizes (39, 34, or 27 inches), aspect ratios (21:9 or 16:9), and refresh rates with just a single button press thanks to the company’s unique Dual-Mode.
you may store up to eight different combinations of screen resolutions and refresh rates, letting you quickly enter the most optimal display configuration for your current activity. For example, if you’re working, you likely want to use the display’s maximum 4K resolution and 45 inches. But when you’re about to enter a competitive FPS match, you likely want to prioritize performance and stick to a 27-inch viewing area with a 1080p resolution and the highest possible refresh rate.
8Alienware Area-51 Desktop
If you want a prebuilt gaming desktop that you can easily tweak later, the Alienware Area-51 Desktop is a perfect fit. Right out of the box, the PC features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285K, two 4TB SSDs, 64GB of RAM, a next-gen GeForce GPU, and a 1500W Platinum PSU to keep it all powered.
However, you don’t have to stick with what Alienware gives you. Not only does the PC allow you to upgrade it, it practically asks you to. Inside the PC are QR codes instructing you on how to upgrade or replace a component, and Alienware provides plenty of room to upgrade the 360mm liquid cooling system to 420mm instead. Couple that with enough power to run a 600W GPU and a 240W CPU, and the Alienware Area-51 Desktop is an ideal pick for people who want to future-proof their hardware to handle the games coming down the road.
9Samsung Odyssey 3D Monitor
It’s been years since we saw the explosion of home 3D visual technology, both in movies and game consoles like the Nintendo 3DS. Since then, companies have been finding ways to give that same 3D effect without the need to wear glasses or keep your head locked in a specific location while you play.
Samsung’s Odyssey 3D monitor aims to tackle both problems at the same time. Not only does the monitor’s design remove the need to wear glasses to see the 3D effect, but it also uses eye tracking to ensure you’re always in the lenticular “sweet spot.” The monitor also utilizes AI to retroactively add a 3D effect to games not designed with 3D monitors in mind.
Setting it apart from other 3D monitors is that the visual effect is viewable from a wide range of angles. You don’t have to be the person sitting right in front of the screen to get the full effect, making it an interesting proposition if Samsung can build this tech into even larger screens.
10Ecovacs GOAT A3000 LiDAR
It’s a little strange how we have all this new technology, but still haven’t found something that can mow the lawn for us. Fortunately, pushing with a heavy machine around the backyard may become a thing of the past with the Ecovacs GOAT A3000 LiDAR.
It comes equipped with a ton of different technologies to navigate your lawn: satellite-based RTK positioning, front-facing LiDAR, camera vision, dual LiDAR, 360° top-mounted scanning, and 3D laser imaging. This allows it to find a path around your lawn without bumping into any obstacles. Combined with its dual-plate cutting system and a powerful motor, keeping your lawn trimmed has never been easier.
