IFA Berlin is currently underway, and we found a lot of cool gems we want to share with you. This is one of the oldest industrial exhibitions in Germany, with the first event taking place back in 1924.
Nowadays, it’s Europe’s biggest tech show, with thousands of exhibitors every year and hundreds of thousands of visitors. For tech lovers, it’s the place to be.
We’re in Berlin right now, getting a tech overdose and we thought it’s best to share our favorite items with you. What stood out for us? What did we love the most? Which ones should you look out for? Here are the official MUO awards for IFA Berlin 2022.
MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Tablet

It’s the first scale currently on the market to mix the three features. The Withings Body Comp scale is the device you need in your home if you want to start improving your health. The scale will be sold with a year-long subscription to the Health+ service, starting in October.
MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Budget Laptop
Better known for making smartphones,TECNOhas introduced its first laptop at IFA 2022. TheMegabook T1has an aluminum metal casing and is super slim and super light. At only 14.8mm thick and under 1.5kg, this is a laptop you may carry anywhere without wanting a massage by the end of the day. The company claims the laptop will run for up to 17.5 hours with its 70Wh battery.
The Megabook T1 runs on a 10nm Intel Core Processor and comes with two storage options—512GB or 1TB— and you can get it with 12GB or 16GB of RAM. The screen is also fairly impressive, with high brightness and gamut, adaptive dimming, and an eye comfort certification. The stellar features and fabulous price make this laptop a great choice.
MUO IFA Award: Best Solar Generator
Having a portable power station is absolutely awesome these days.EcoFlowis taking advantage of its presence at IFA 2022 to unveil theDELTA 2. This is the next-generation of portable power stations from EcoFlow, a product the company hopes will set a new benchmark for the industry.
The DELTA 2 has a battery capacity of 1 kWh and supports up to 1800W rated output. The device features four AC power sockets, which is quite enough for most homes or outdoor events. you may charge it up to 80% in 50 minutes and go for the full 100% in 80 minutes. Much like previous Delta models, you can charge this one up by chaining multiple solar panels together. The EcoFlow Delta 2 is exactly what you need to reduce your reliance on the grid.
MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Smart Home Device
For our Best Smart Home device, we decided to go for a device that can help cross the bridge between smart home manufacturers. If you’ve ever looked into smart home devices, you’ll have noticed there’s a lack of compatibility between most major brands. Coming fromMatter, the newest and latest smart devices under the Eve brand can now get commands from Google Home or Amazon Echo.
If you’re familiar with the Eve product line, you’ll know they’ve only ever worked with Apple’s HomeKit platform. Now, however, you’ll be able to control these smart devices with Google Home or even by Asking Alexa to turn it on and off, which is outstanding. This is part of an effort to create a unified language spoken by all smart home devices. The new line will certainly shake up the smart home market, which is exactly what it needs.
MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Gaming Peripheral
