In an interview withDeadlinefollowing her nomination in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy category, Hahn clarified her previous comments about feeling satisfied with the wayAgatha All Alongended and spoke about the experience filming season 1.Hahn was also asked if she would doAgatha All Alongseason 2.
I think I meant that we were very satisfied by the way thatAgatha All Alongended the arc of that story being told there.I think everyone would be thrilled to come back, of course, in any capacity.It was a very life-altering, deep experience in Atlanta, Georgia, with just this very small cast on the soundstage, day after day after day. I’m so proud, and I’m so thrilled for Marvel. They were so supportive of this tiny, fabulous, female- and queer-led show.
What Kathryn Hahn’s Comments Mean For Her MCU Future
One of the strongest elements of the first season’s finale is that it did leave a natural point for a potentialAgatha All Alongseason 2to continue the story, if Marvel Studios decided to make another season. Based on Hahn’s comments, it is clear that she is more than happy to continue Agatha’s journey in the MCU. It may simply be a matter of Marvel Studios, Disney+, and the creative team figuring out the organic way to makeAgatha All Alongseason 2 happen that would service the characters.
The good thing about Hahn’s MCU involvement beyondAgatha All Alongis that viewers are not going to have to wait that much longer to see Agatha back in the franchise, or at least a different version of her. AsScreenRantrevealed exclusively earlier this fall, Hahn’sAgatha will be inWhat If…?season 3,which will include a musical element when she shows up as the Marvel witch. This will also allow the audience to explore an Agatha variant who may have had a very different trajectory from her Earth-616 counterpart.

As shocking as Agatha’s fate was in the final episodes ofAgatha All Along,it would make no sense if Marvel Studios didn’t continue her arc in one way or another, especially following the show’s nominations. Agatha has quickly become a fan-favorite in the MCU, and given that she is now a ghost, Marvel Studios clearly has something more in mind for her, since they could have simply let her pass away. Whether that ends up beingAgatha All Alongseason 2 or a different MCU project altogether remains to be seen.
