The Most Hated Household Chores
Some chores are hated more than others, with doing laundry and washing dishes at the top of the list. We need to change our clothes and eat every day, and with that, comes dirty clothes and dirty dishes. Even though doing laundry and washing or putting away dishes may only take a small chunk of time out of your day, it’s monotonous.
Automating either one of these tasks would be super helpful. What if there was a built-in laundry robot in your home that could put clothes in the washing machine, start it, move them over to the dryer, start the dryer, and fold everything when the dryer’s finished? Or a dishwashing robot that could load dishes, start the dishwasher, and unload them? Both of these mystical robots sound expensive and complicated, but it’s nice to dream.
If you have pets or kids, you might have to vacuum and mop more frequently—making cleaning the floors an easy contender for most-hated chore. Vacuuming can kick up dust and irritate your allergies, and it’s a loud, physically-involved task.

Some Chores Can Be Automated—To Some Extent

For me, washing dishes is the absolute worst household chore. I know we have dishwashers that can do a lot of the cleaning and sanitizing for you, but sometimes that’s not enough. I’d love the ability to just put a dirty dish in the sink and have it magically appear clean in my cabinet.
