Given what we know about James Gunn’s track record,I’m happy to take Frank Grillo at his word on this one. It’s worth recognizing that Grillo, unlike many other comic book movie actors, did not consider himself to be a “superhero kid,” but being intimately knowledgeable about the main character isn’t necessary to recognize when a movie looks entertaining. Following Gunn’s promise of theSupermantrailer releasing soon, I’m now doubly excited to see what’s in store and get a better handle on how the DCU is going to look and feel down the line.
