This is the easiest way to remove unwanted devices from your Spotify account. All you have to do is launch the Spotify app, click on your profile, and selectLog out.

2. Have Spotify Forget the Device

As we’ve mentioned, you can remotely remove access to unwanted devices. On desktop, open the Spotify client and click theConnect to a deviceicon from the bottom-right corner.

Spotify will now show you the list of devices connected to your account. To remove a device, click thethree-doticon next to it and selectForget device.

To forget one of the connected devices on Spotify mobile, open the app, tap theSettingsicon, and selectConnect to a device. Then, tap thethree-doticon next to the device’s name and tap onForget device.

3. Use Spotify’s Remove Access Feature

There’s also the case when you want to stop certain apps from accessing your Spotify account. For example, you might’ve synced your Spotify account with someone’s Strava account and now want to disconnect it. To do so, head to your Spotify account page, and from theSecurity and privacysection, selectManage apps.

UnderManage apps, you’ll see a list of every app with access to your Spotify account. Click theRemove Accessbutton next to the one you no longer need.

If you’ve been using Spotify for a long time, chances are you’ve connected your account to a lot of devices over the years. In this case, it might be easier to sign out everywhere instead of individually removing each unwanted device.

To sign out, go toSpotifyand log into your account. Then, click your profile icon and go toAccount. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click onSign out everywhere.
