Midra’s Manse is a dungeon found in the Abyssal Woods ofElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. This Legacy Dungeon and its parent region are buried deep into the DLC, so players won’t be able to venture inside right off the bat. When you finally get to Midra’s Manse, you’ll find a collection of good loot and another tough boss battle.
Midra’s Manse is not a dungeon to ignore, mainly because of its final boss. The dungeon’s boss drops one of the few new Remembrances available withinShadow of the Erdtree. You cantrade this new Remembrance with Enia at Roundtable Holdto unlock a powerful sword or a fiery new Incantation. The loot in Midra’s Manse is well-suited to Faith-based builds and fans of frenzied fire.

Where To Find Midra’s Manse Dungeon
How To Enter Abyssal Woods
Before you can even think of visiting Midra’s Manse,you’ll first need toreach the Abyssal WoodsinShadow of the Erdtree. This is a long process that requires progressing through a large portion of the DLC before you even reach step one of accessing this region. The region is locked behind another boss battle, so make sure you’re prepared for the journey.
You first mustfind a transporter coffin within Shadow Keep, which will take you to a previously inaccessible portion of Scadu Altus. Your next step is tofollow Recluses' River downstreamuntil you reach the cliff’s edge. Carefully descend the cliff toaccess Darklight Catacombs. Once you defeat Jori, Elder Inquisitor, you’ll arrive at the Forsaken Graveyard Site of Grace in the Abyssal Woods at the end of this dungeon.

To find Midra’s Manse and better navigate the region,you should first collect the Abyssal Woods Map Fragment. Head south from the Forsaken Graveyard Site of Grace and follow the path to the Abandoned Church.
Midra’s Manse is in the southwestern corner of Abyssal Woods, about as far from the Forsaken Graveyard Site of Grace as you’re able to get while still in the woods. When looking at the region’s map, the dungeon is tucked among the large roots in the curve of the cliff west of the Finger Ruins of Rhia. Be careful of wandering Winter Lanterns as you enter the Manse itself.

Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame Boss Battle
The star of Midra’s Manse is its titular boss, a powerfulElden Ringboss calledMidra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. To get to Midra, you must break through multiple paintings, hiding tunnels that lead deeper into the Manse. Midra can be found right near the Second Floor Site of Grace. While Midra starts as a feeble human, the boss eventually takes on their true form for the difficult boss battle.
Before you get to the end of the dungeon and face Midra, ensure you have protection against Madness and Fire while wielding items that deal with Frost, Bleed, or Poise. The best weapons that deal this damage include Dark Moon Greatsword, Moonveil, and Bloody Helice.

Upon death, Midra drops410,000 Runes and theRemembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame. This Remembrance, when turned in to Enia, can give you eithertheGreatsword of Damnationor Midra’s Flame of Frenzy.
The Greatsword of Damnation is designed for high Faith players and deals physical and holy damage. Meanwhile,Midra’s Flame of Frenzyis a Faith-based Incantation that spits frenzied flame. Faith-based builds would be foolish to ignore this boss.

While exploring Midra’s Mane before the boss battle, there’s a lot for you to collect. TwoRevered Spirit Ashesin the area can help you strengthen your summons. While exploring the Manse, you should come across a room full of rats where you may grabMad Craftsman’s Cookbook [3], which allows you to craft Surging Frenzied Flame. This Tool can be crafted with Swollen Grapes found around the area.
If you’re a fan of Torches,you can find Nanaya’s Torch on a balconyin Midra’s Manse. This torch works for general builds inElden Ring, dealing physical and fire damage with a 65 Madness build-up passive. Like many other items in Midra’s Manse,Nanaya’s Torchthrows about frenzied fire with its skill. It’s yet another great reason to get to Midra’s Manse inElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
