How to Create a Snapchat Bitmoji

There are a few ways to create a Bitmoji avatar, but the easiest way is right in the Snapchat app.

Once you’re logged into Snapchat, follow these simple steps:

  1. From the home camera screen, tap yourStoryorblankavatarin the top left corner (whichever is displayed).

  2. Now on your profile screen, you should be prompted with aCreate My Avatarbutton towards the top. Tap it. If you are not prompted, tap theSettings gear iconin the top right corner.

  1. If needed, in Settings, tapBitmoji, thenCreate My Avatar.

  2. Create with Camera by positioning your face in the frame to create 3 options

  1. Once your avatar is ready, tap eitherEdit AvatarorSelect Outfitto make changes. Or just tapDonein the top right!

You can always change your Bitmoji, so don’t stress about creating it perfectly. Once you are done, you will see your Bitmoji displayed around Snapchat, including in the top left corner of the home screen, on your Snap code, and in chats with your friends. You can evenuse your Bitmoji to react to messages.

Editing your Bitmoji is easy and can be done anytime in a few steps.

  1. From the home camera screen, tap yourStoryorBitmojiin the top left corner (whichever is displayed).

  1. Swipe down on the line on top of the tab menu to access theBitmoji menu.

3. TapEdit Avatarand make any changes you would like!

There are no limits on how often you can edit your Bitmoji or what your Bitmoji has to look like, so feel free to get creative and try out different options like hairstyles and outfits.
