Furthermore, the leak states thatthe images of the creature supposedly called Tapir were found in a separate foldercalled “pet,” as opposed to where creatures like Diting or Peppy are kept. This may be the way to differentiate creature-shaped NPCs from creatures in the rumored pet system inHonkai: Star Rail.
Based on the leaks so far, Version 2.5 may truly introduce a brand-new pet system.
