Summary
Based on recent leaks, the coolest-looking glider inGenshin Impactwill arrive with Natlan in Version 5.0. Gliders have been present since the very release of the action RPG by HoYoverse and are a fundamental part of the exploration mechanics – in fact, some places are only reachable if players use their gliders. There are different types of gliders in the game, though they only affect characters cosmetically and, individually do not provide special gameplay bonuses. Now, with the upcomingrelease of Natlan inGenshin Impact, a new glider is bound to arrive.
According to new information from an unsourced leaker, which was then posted onReddit, the new glider from Natlan will be red and black with a design shaped to resemble flames. The left wing will be red with black tips, whereas the right wing will be black with red tips. This will be the regional glider, added to the game via the new reputation system that is incoming with Natlan. In the leaked picture, Mualani is flying with the new Natlan glider inGenshin Impact, showcasing the character’s colors contrasted with the gear.

I’m Thrilled One Of Genshin Impact 5.0’s Biggest Natlan Leaks Isn’t True
One of the most significant leaks about Genshin Impact 5.0’s Natlan region has allegedly been debunked, and it comes as great news for us, players.
New Natlan Glider In Genshin Impact Has Leaked
The Equipment Will Be Unlocked Via The New Reputation System In The Nation Of Pyro
While the initial post does not clarify how players can unlock it, a subsequent leak from an unknown source, which was also posted onReddit, shows that the Natlan glider is a reward from the new reputation system in Natlan. Contrary to the previous reputation systems that had a straightforward leveling mechanic, the reputation system in Natlan will be centered around increasing reputations with various tribes– and players unlock tiers of rewards by maxing out the reputation with each tribe inGenshin Impact’s Natlan region.
As is exemplified in the Reddit leak, the new Natlan glider is a reward that players can claim after they have reached the maximum reputation level with five out of six different tribes across the Nation of Pyro. Based on the leak, each tribe will have four reputation levels to get through, each with its own set of rewards, too. As such, if the leaks are true, players will have to complete 24 reputation levels in Natlan to get the stylish new Natlan gliderinGenshin Impact.

It is uncertain how much effort this will take and how the reputation split into tribes compares to the traditional one-path systems like in Fontaine, Sumeru, Inazuma, Liyue, and Mondstadt, for example. By consistently completing all the weekly bounties and requests, as well as world exploration and regional quests, players take between 11 and 14 weeks to max out their reputation in Sumeru, as calculated by userMonoglareon HoYoLAB. This would mean that players would take around three months to get the new glider to equip onNatlan characters inGenshin Impact(though characters from other regions can also still equip it).
If each tribe level requires a similar amount of experience from traditional reputation systems, Natlan may become the slowest reputation system to max out.

For now, the leaks should be considered with caution, as a lot of the early beta information is subject to change. Nevertheless, the leaked images do point at one of the best-looking gliders in the game and one that should match characters with red and black color palettes from all other regions, such as Diluc and Dehya. Of course, there are several other rewards to be uncovered once Natlan arrives inGenshin Impactin late August if there are no delays to the regular update schedule.
