Devonia’s HammerinElden Ringis a giant Colossal weapon introduced as part of theShadow of the ErdtreeDLC. It is an epic weapon with a great skill that cannot be found anywhere else. This is a particularly fantastic build for anyone with a high strength and a secondary stat in faith, as they can get the most use out of it.
There are manynew weapon types inShadow of the Erdtree, all of which will give your enemies trouble and make them much harder against you. The Colossal weapons all have heavy damage and make large weapons comically so now. It is one of those good things about Soulsborne titles that are equally ridiculous and awesome at the same time.

How To Get Devonia’s Hammer
Find The Crucible Knight
This one isquite a long trekif you have not been to the closest Site of Grace before you seek thisElden Ringweapon.LaserBoltprovides an excellent visual pathway, but here are some tips and tricks about getting there if you do not. The main problem with getting the weapon iswhat you must do when you get there.
The closestSite of Grace is the Rauh Ancient Ruins, which is in the east location, after which you must make your way to theCrucible Knightboss. The pathway is not that difficult; it is just a fair trot from where the Site of Grace is. Make your way through the area until you reach a kind of courtyard. After you find the Crucible Knight, defeat him to take Devonia’s Hammer home.

You should be fairly familiar with Crucible Knights at this point, and this one is not much different. However, it will be using the weapon and a fancy helm against you, which should make you a little wary. Ensure all your gear and character are in tip-top shape to fight this boss.
Now that you have the Colossal Hammer in hand, you’re able to see if it is the right weapon for you or if it’s something you want to try.

How To Use Devonia’s Hammer
Stats, Skills, & Special Effects
This Colossal Hammer inElden Ringhas a lot of good things going for it, with a major potential for damage and a skill that can knock your enemies off their feet. You will be looking for this to be aStrength/Faith Build, although having agood Dexterity statwill not hurt either. Overall, spend your points wisely to take full advantage of this weapon.
You will need aStrength of 30to wield this weapon one-handed, a Dexterity score of 13, and a Faith score of 19. This weapon can only beupgraded through Level 10, and you can use Somber Smithing Stones. First, the weapon does not scale phenomenally well, but this changes over time as you upgrade it, and it just keeps improving.

Ending with aB/C in Strength and Faithis not bad; this will help you carry this weapon with you through the end of the game. There are a lot of good stats and great reasons to use this weapon, but there are other good Strength/Faith weapons, such as theFire Knight’s Greatsword. What makes thisweapon unique is the skill. However, the baseline stats are still quite good and can be seen in the chart below:

As you can see, Devonia’s Hammer does have anadditional damage potential with the Holy Damage, allowing you to take advantage of this against foes weak to it. While not every enemy is, the extra damage is nothing to dismiss entirely unless the enemy is immune. You can destroy enemies with this weapon in many ways, and themore you upgrade it, the more new ways you learn.

Like theAnvil Hammer inElden Ring, this is a Colossal Weapon with an Ash of War that cannot be removed, so what you see is what you get. In this case, the skill is well worth it. The required skill is calledDevonia’s Vortex, which spins the hammer around violently and causes it to slam the ground, causing a shockwave. you may charge it to increase the damage, and it is aunique skill that costs 16 FP, which means you will want a lot of FP before you grab this weapon.
This skill makes you look like a creepier version of Thor with a massive version of Mjolnir in hand. It may not allow you to fly, but the new world of the Shadow Realm is vast and terrible, making exploring and learning your way around fun and occasionally frustrating. Having a strong weapon like Devonia’s Hammer will help you set the tone inElden Ringand look like a total boss.
