Demon Slayer’sNezuko Kamadowas born human, but has definitely grown intoone of the most terrifying, mighty,and unique demonsin the series. Her burning Blood Demon Art, combat skills, and unmatched bravery make her a menacing threat in battle. Although she is technically a demon too, she continually fights demons alongside her brother, Tanjiro, protecting him and other people from harm, which proves she still values human life in spite of being a demon.
Nezuko’s life has unfortunately been filled with strife and hardships. Her entire family was murdered by demons when she was quite young, and she was subsequently turned into one herself against her will. Following this awful occurrence, she has hadto fight to assuage her demon instinctsat every turn, as well as participate in increasingly difficult fights with demons and humans alike.

The cosplayer is wearing a black kimono-like garment over Nezuko’s easily recognizable pink and black patterned dress, featured on her in every episode of the series. The unique pattern consists of black lines that form triangle-like shapes on top of the pink fabric. In their long dark hair is a light pink bow, tying in with the color of Nezuko’s dress. Even their eyes glimmer the same shade of pink, an effect likely created by colored contacts. There is a muzzle in u/ninanisekai’s mouth, identical to the muzzle Nezuko is unfortunately required to wear to help with her demon instincts.
Although she does not want to harm a human, Nezuko’s demon urges can become nearly overpowering at times, clouding her rational thoughts and normal judgment. The muzzle provides a physical barrier just in case her instincts become too overwhelming to fight back. She voluntarily wears it, recognizing its necessity since she could hurt or kill someone if she is not cautious. The cosplay image is absolutely gorgeous, bathed in soft pink light anddepicting Nezuko surrounded by a couple large, majestic butterflies.
