There were several major developments in the reliably chaoticChuckyseason 3 finale, which saw the titular doll drive away with Tiffany. However, while it may have been a happy ending for the villains, it was terrifying for the main trio of Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson), and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind).Their souls were transferred into marionette dollsbecause of Caroline (Carina London Battrick), and it’s unclear if they will be rescued.
Other seasons ofChuckyhave left the main three in a relatively positive place, while still keeping Chucky in play. However, with this cliffhanger of a conclusion,there needs to be at least one more seasonof the Syfy/USA Network series. There are too many storylines left dangling that need to be resolved, and it would be disappointing if they never received any kind of resolution. As for whether a renewal will happen, Syfy recently cancelledReginald the Vampireafter two seasons and significantly reduced the number of its scripted originals, which isn’t a great sign.
