Amazon’s Fire tablets offer excellent value for the money. They aren’t the fastest machines, and they don’t come with native access to the Google Play Store, but there is still plenty to love here at these prices. If you want something bigger and more powerful, check out the Fire Max 11 for just $140, and if you just need something small and inexpensive, the Fire HD 8 is a great option at $50. And don’t sleep on the Kids models. They include a case, a free extended warranty, and access to Amazon’s Kids+ service.

If you were to divide the Android tablet market like a pie chart, Samsung and Amazon would obviously have the biggest pieces. You could probably argue that Samsung’s would be bigger, since most Fire tablets stay in the budget space, and there is a Galaxy Tab offering at virtually every price point. Some of our favorite Samsung models include the A9+ on the lower end, the S9 FE+ in sort of the mid-range category, and, of course, the S9 Ultra in the premium space. The good news is that all of these models are on sale right now, with discounts of up to $450. Perhaps the best value for your money is the S8 Ultra for $650. It’s a year-old, but with its gorgeous 15" display and other high-end features, you’re essentially getting a flagship device at a mid-range price.

If you’d prefer a tablet not made by Amazon or Samsung, you have a handful of options. Google is probably where you’d want to start looking, because its Pixel tablets are solid and offer a very pure Android experience. We particularly like the bundled Charging Speaker Dock option, as it essentially turns your Pixel into a smart home hub. If you’re OK going outside of Android, you should absolutely check out the iPad deals. The 9th gen model, which has a 10-inch display and powerful processor, offers incredible value at just $250. And finally there’s Lenovo, which has some solid offerings if, for some reason, all the other brands just aren’t doing it for you.
