A new9-1-1season 8 update has confirmed an important character to Bobby is coming back after previously appearing briefly during season 7. Bobby (Peter Krause) has maintained his role as the central figure of LAFD Station 118’s captain, with the story of9-1-1season 8centering his leadership role once again after Gerrard (Brian Thompson) briefly took it from him. Since then, he’s maintained a steady leadership position on the team, keeping cool even when Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) was kidnapped in the latest episode.
Now,TVLinehas spoken with showrunner Tim Minear, who hasconfirmed that Bobby’s mother, Ann Nash, will be coming back in9-1-1season 8. Ann was previously portrayed by Ellen Wroe in a flashback during season 7, episode 8, but will show up in the present day during her next appearance.
