The characters are ina never-ending fight for survival, fighting to protect themselves and others, often suffering great personal costs. Living in a survival of the fittest environment like this requires the characters to possess incredible strength.
Because of the cutthroat circumstances they live in,Attack on Titanis filled with strong characters. Many characters also possess Titan shifting powers, which allow them to shapeshift into overpowered, superhuman forms.
These Titans come with impressive powers, such as unbelievable strength, rapid speed, boiling hot steam, and a number of other powersspecific to the Titan type. Even some non-Titan shifters are among the series' strongest too, trained intoterrifying Titan-killing machines.

Bertolt Hoover was the first in the series to shift into the Colossus Titan. Some of this Titan’s primary and most useful abilities are burning hot steam, astounding height, and the ability to explode in a flash of energy when transforming. Bertolt wentundercover with Reiner and Annie, joining the Survey Corps.
He, Reiner, and Annie planned to overthrow the Eldians by taking them down from inside the Survey Corps. Bertolt was cunning, although he did feel guilty for deceiving trusted friends. He and his comrades were found out by Eren and the others, and he was later eaten by Armin, who inherited his Colossus Titan. However, he and Reiner succeeded in wiping out countless humans during the attack on Wall Maria,proving his mightin accomplishing this horrific feat.

At the end of his life, he led a brutal charge against the Beast Titan that lost him a staggering number of Survey Corps members.
Evenlosing an arm did not deter Erwin. He fought until the bitter end, until his body physically could not continue. Even though many of his choices throughoutAttack on Titanare controversial and, at times, selfish, his persistence and will to keep fighting are two qualities that remained unchanging in him until the end of his life.

Zeke Yeager was not only the Beast Titan, but Eren’s brother too. He was unfortunately responsible for the death of Erwin Smith, as well as thousands of other humans. Not only was he physically powerful, but he couldmanipulate other Titans at will, giving him an incredibly powerful resource.
Zeke’s goal of wiping out the Eldians was truly shocking. He felt the only way to attain peace and freedom from the Titans was by ending the Eldian race entirely.Levi ended his lifeand chances of completing this goal, slicing his head off mercilessly with his blade.

Annie Leonhart, the Female Titan, wasone of Marley’s best warriorsand the fourth ranked cadet in the Survey Corps. As well as being talented with ODM gear and in close combat, her Female Titan secret identity gives her even more remarkable powers. She can run incredibly fast and even regenerate after injuries while in Titan form.
Perhaps her strongest ability when it comes to protecting herself is crystallization. Similarly to Reiner’s Armored Titan, shecan create crystallized panelsthat protect her from enemy blows. Annie is also emotionally strong and perseverant, pushing herself to her absolute limits in every situation.
5Armin Arlert, the 15th Commander and Colossus Titan, Is Incredibly Intelligent
His Wisdom Coupled With His Physical Strength Make Him One of the Series’ Strongest Fighters
The Survey Corps' most intelligent memberby far is Armin Arlert, giving him a unique strength. Armin is perceptive and able to devise a plan instantaneously when dealing with a threat. His quick thinking and wits have helped the Survey Corps out of many difficult and life-threatening predicaments.
Armin manipulated Annie into revealing she was the Female Titan and helped uncover Reiner and Bertolt’s secret plans. He bravely charged into boiling Titan steam and survived, so the Survey Corps could defeat Bertolt’s Titan. His achievements are very high in number, provingArmin’s worthiness to inherit the Colossus Titan. With this new Titan form, his physical power was only heightened, and coupled with his wisdom, made him into a talented fighter who was eventually promoted to 15th Commander.

He is strong, very agile, and most notably, talented at using ODM gear and his blades and swords to cut down countless enemies. The only aspect greater than Levi’s physical strength is his courageousness. He never hesitated or even considered leaving the Survey Corps, even though he unfortunately became more injured than almost anyone else.His dedication to saving humanity from the Titanskept him pushing forward no matter what challenges he faced on the road to his goal.
